Edward P. McKenzie, Chairman
Edward P. McKenzie is the settlor of the Edward P. McKenzie Family Trust and serves as  Trustee of the Trust, as well as Chairman of the Award Committee.

Edward P. McKenzie is  a graduate of The American University and Georgetown University Law Center, both located in Washington, D.C.  Mr. McKenzie was a Rotary International Scholar at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in political science.

After a successful career as a corporate and real estate attorney in New York and New Jersey, Mr. McKenzie re-located to the U.S. Virgin Islands and formed EMCO Management, LLC and related companies. His companies have purchased, developed and improved commercial properties located in St. Thomas and St. John, VI, as well as in the mainland U.S.

Mr. McKenzie is a strong advocate of education as a means of social and economic upward mobility and has supported children’s educational and sports activities for decades.

Drew McKenzie is a partner in Bond Creative Search/MGMT, New York and Los Angeles. Drew is a leading consultant in creative recruitment, executive search, and progressive business strategy. As VP at BOND, Drew has created omnichannel strategies and built some of the strongest marketing, digital, architecture, advertising & e-commerce teams for clients including Melinda Gates’ Pivotal Ventures, Apple, Tapestry, and LVMH.

Drew began his career as an entrepreneur, artist and curator. His curated international group exhibitions, fashion brand and product designs, publications, and artwork have been featured by PROJECT at Magic Trade Show, RVCA Gallery, Gilt, Transworld Business, Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico & more.

Drew holds a BA from New York University in Art History with a focus in Business Studies. With a strong knowledge of art, design, technology, business, fashion & culture, Drew partners with global industry leaders to produce creative business solutions.

Drew supports expanding educational and cultural opportunities for young people – by facilitating high school mentorship and college internship programs between top national HBCU’s and his global brand clients, as well as by promoting independent creatives through media exposure in partnership with galleries, nonprofits & institutions. He is keen to assist aspiring cultural and artistic leaders in their educational and career development.

Scott McKenzie, Member
Scott McKenzie is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City, where he received a B.A. in Digital Technology and Emerging Media. Scott lives in Miami and is a  Senior Property Manager and Development Coordinator for EMCO Management USA, LLC, the Florida branch of his family’s business, where he is responsible for the management of four commercial properties in Florida. Scott also is responsible for development and management of electronic transaction innovations for the company.

Scott is a graduate of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, St. Thomas, VI, and has enjoyed a successful career as a competitive sailor. Scott represented the U.S. Virgin Islands in more than 10 world, continental and national championship regattas including representing the US Virgin Islands in the 2014 IOC Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

Scott seeks to support Virgin Islands athletes in pursuit of their dreams. He also desires to open opportunities to Virgin Islanders seeking to expand their knowledge, education and skill in digital technology for the greater benefit of themselves, their families and their community.
